The Smith/Shaver Law School Scholarship Fund provides scholarships to North Carolina residents who attend the law schools at:
- CAMPBELL UNIVERSITY
- DUKE UNIVERSITY
- NORTH CAROLINA CENTRAL UNIVERSITY
- THE UNIVERSITY OF NORTH CAROLINA AT CHAPEL HILL
- WAKE FOREST UNIVERSITY
The Scholarship Fund, created pursuant to the order of Judge Howard E. Manning, Jr., in the class action SMITH v. STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA/SHAVER v. STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA, has provided $4,500,000 for scholarships to the supported law schools since 2006.
